Es ist das erste gr\u00fcne Luxusresort der Insel Koh Samui. Wir werden mit einem elektronisch betriebenen Golfwagen von der Lobby zu unserem Cottage gebracht. Erst m\u00fcssen wir kichern. Es kommt uns albern vor, uns fahren zu lassen. Aber die Natur hat ihn so beeindruckt, dass er beschloss sein Edelresort mit \u00f6kologischen Grunds\u00e4tzen zu gestalten. Mittlerweile f\u00fchrt die zweite Generation das Resort. Aufmerksamkeit, Achtsamkeit und Respekt scheinen die Philosophie von Tongsai Bay zu bestimmen. Es sind die vielen Details, die zeigen, dass Umweltschutz kein Marketigkonzept ist, sondern ein <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tongsaibay.co.th\/en\/01-our-story\/green-project.php\" target=\"_blank\">Herzensprojekt<\/a> der Hotelbesitzer. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns, dass f\u00fcr das Resort kein einziger Baum gef\u00e4llt wurde. Entweder werden sie umgepflanzt oder in die Architektur integriert. Wir betrachten staunend die Strandbar, deren Dach ein riesiger Baum ist und d\u00fcrfen uns in einem Hotelzimmer umsehen, dessen Balkon um einen Baum herumgebaut wurde.<\/p>\n<p><b><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greenpearls.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/Tongsai_GP_5.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2205\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greenpearls.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/Tongsai_GP_5-960x705.jpg\" alt=\"Tongsai_GP_5\" width=\"960\" height=\"705\" \/><\/a><\/b><\/p>\n<p>Neben der Kein-Baum-Wird-gef\u00e4llt-Regel, gibt es noch eine <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tongsaibay.co.th\/en\/01-our-story\/green-project.php\" target=\"_blank\">keine-Chemie-im-Au\u00dfenbereich-Regel<\/a>. Viele Hotels verwenden in Thailand chemische Insektenmittel. Das zerst\u00f6rt das nat\u00fcrliche Gleichgewicht. Deshalb stellt das Hotel eigene Putz- und Insektenmittel her. Aus nat\u00fcrlichen Zutaten. Chili und Zitronengras landen im Mittel gegen Insekten. Fr\u00fcchte, Backpulver und Zucker werden durch Mikroorganismen fermentiert und in Putzmittel umgewandelt. So st\u00f6rt keine Chemie das nat\u00fcrliche Gleichgewicht. Ein Grund warum mittlerweile Tiere aus der Umgebung Asyl suchen in Tongsai Bay.<\/p>\n<p><b><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greenpearls.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/Tongsai_GP_3.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2206\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greenpearls.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/Tongsai_GP_3-960x720.jpg\" alt=\"Tongsai_GP_3\" width=\"960\" height=\"720\" \/><\/a><\/b><\/p>\n<p>Das Hotel beheimatet 66 verschiedene Vogelarten und diverse andere niedliche und schuppige Kleintiere. Kein Tier darf zu schaden kommen innerhalb des Hotelgel\u00e4ndes. Auch das ist eine Grundregel. Das Hotel passt sich der Natur an, nicht umgekehrt. Tongsai Bay hat eine eigene Managerin nur f\u00fcr \u00d6kobelange. Sie k\u00fcmmert sich neben den \u00fcblichen Dingen, wie Recycling und M\u00fclltrennung, um Bildungsprojekte f\u00fcr die Einheimischen und schult die Mitarbeiter beim Thema Umweltschutz. Die Detailliebe beim Umweltschutz wird nur noch vom Luxus der <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tongsaibay.co.th\/en\/02-accommodation\/index.php\" target=\"_blank\">Hotelzimmer<\/a> und <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tongsaibay.co.th\/en\/04-services-facilities\/01-eat-and-drink\/beach-bistro-bar.php\" target=\"_blank\">Restaurants<\/a> \u00fcbertroffen. Es herrscht eine entspannte Zufriedenheit in Tongsai Bay. Wie eine Zuckergussschicht liegt sie \u00fcber den Wegen und R\u00e4umen.
