Mein Reiseherz hat eine goldene Regel: jedes Jahr reise ich an einen Ort, den ich noch nie zuvor gesehen habe. Sonne, tolle Natur und eine Freundin, die gerade f\u00fcr einen Job hinzog &#8211; Thailand war die L\u00f6sung!<\/p>\n<p>Also nahm ich meine bessere H\u00e4lfte an die Hand und wir stiegen Mitte M\u00e4rz in ein Flugzeug nach Bangkok. Stock des Amari Watergates.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h2>Erster Halt: Bangkok<\/h2>\n<p>Unser erstes Ziel ist vermutlich der beliebteste Beginn jeder Thailand-Reise: die gro\u00dfe, pulsierende Stadt Bangkok. Ich hatte schon so viel \u00fcber die Metropole geh\u00f6rt und konnte es kaum abwarten, mir meine eigene Meinung zu bilden.<\/p>\n<p>Wir n\u00e4chtigten f\u00fcr drei Tage im <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greenpearls.com\/hotels\/asia\/thailand\/amari-watergate\" target=\"_blank\">Amari Watergate Bangkok<\/a>, nur wenige Laufminuten vom ber\u00fchmten Siam Center. Wir hatten das Gl\u00fcck,\u00a0ein\u00a0Executive Zimmer im 31. Stock zu beziehen, das eine atemberaubende Panoramaaussicht auf die Stadt direkt vom Bett aus bot.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_4625\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-4625\" style=\"width: 599px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greenpearls.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/IMG_3091.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-4625\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greenpearls.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/IMG_3091-1024x374.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_3091\" width=\"599\" height=\"219\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-4625\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Direkt aus unserem Zimmer im Amari Watergate hatten wir diese atemberaubende Aussicht.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Die gro\u00dfen Fenster lassen viel nat\u00fcrliches Licht hinein, sodass wir so gut wie nie irgendein Licht in unserem Zimmer anmachten. Am Tag schien die Sonne; am Abend \u00fcbernahmen die Lichter der Skyline den Job.<\/p>\n<p>Unsere Morgen begannen mit einem gro\u00dfartigen Fr\u00fchst\u00fcck mit frischen Zutaten und einem Koch, der jegliche Art der Ei-Zubereitung meisterte. Es war ein toller Beginn unserer kulinarischen Reise.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_4628\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-4628\" style=\"width: 597px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-4628\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greenpearls.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/IMG_1697-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_1697\" width=\"597\" height=\"398\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-4628\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Der Chatuchak Markt ist ein Fundus von kuriosen Dingen, aber auch vielen tollen handgemachten Holzartikeln und Schmuck.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h2>Impressionen der Stadt<\/h2>\n<p>Ein guter, wohl-verdienter Schlaf nach unserem 11-Stunden Flug aus Frankfurt brachte uns\u00a0wieder auf die Beine und wir nahmen ein Taxi zum Chatuchak Wochenendmarkt im Norden Bangkoks. Es ist der gr\u00f6\u00dfte Markt Thailands, mit mehr als 8000 St\u00e4nden gef\u00fcllt mit selbstgemachtem Schmuck, Holzwaren und Bekleidung. Wir waren bestimmt 3 Stunden dort und haben vermutlich gerade mal die H\u00e4lfte erkundet. Und ganz ehrlich: wir w\u00fcnschten uns mehr als einmal, dass wir mehr Platz im Koffer h\u00e4tten\u2026<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_4629\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-4629\" style=\"width: 596px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-4629\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greenpearls.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/IMG_3687-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_3687\" width=\"596\" height=\"397\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-4629\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Eine Fahrt auf einem Longtailboot auf dem Fluss ist eine andere Art, Bangkok zu entdecken.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"attachment_4630\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-4630\" style=\"width: 400px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-4630\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greenpearls.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/IMG_3738-683x1024.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_3738\" width=\"400\" height=\"600\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-4630\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">In Bangkok Thailand findet man \u00fcberall faszinierende Architektur bei den einzelnen Tempeln.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Am Tag machten wir einfach das, worauf wir gerade Lust hatten: wuselten durch verschiedene M\u00e4rkte, bewunderten die faszinierenden Tempel-Architektur und nahmen eine Tour mit dem Longtail-Boot auf dem Fluss und entdecken so eine versteckte Seite von Bangkok.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_4631\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-4631\" style=\"width: 448px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-4631\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greenpearls.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/IMG_8546-e1459512160498-768x1024.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_8546\" width=\"448\" height=\"597\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-4631\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Auch am Abend gibt es vom Pool im Amari Watergate sch\u00f6ne Aussichten!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>An jedem Abend kehrten wir zum Amari Watergate zur\u00fcck, genossen Cocktails auf der Terrasse und schwammen im Au\u00dfenpool, der ganz zauberhaft durch die Lichter der Hochh\u00e4user beleuchtet wird. Entspannung und Metropole gehen hier Hand in Hand.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_4642\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-4642\" style=\"width: 599px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-4642\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greenpearls.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/IMG_3965-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_3965\" width=\"599\" height=\"399\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-4642\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Frische Zutaten sind ein fester Bestandteil in der thail\u00e4ndischen K\u00fcche.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h2>Kochen wie in Thailand<\/h2>\n<p>An einem Morgen verlie\u00dfen wir das wirklich gem\u00fctliche Bett im Amari Watergate etwas fr\u00fcher als sonst, um an einem traditionellen thail\u00e4ndischen Kochkurs teilzunehmen. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bangkokthaicooking.com\" target=\"_blank\">Unser Kurs <\/a>beinhaltete auch einen Besuch auf einem kleinen, lokalen Markt, wo wir alle Zutaten f\u00fcr die Gerichte frisch vom H\u00e4ndler kauften. Die kleine Markthalle wurde gef\u00fcllt von hypnotisierenden Ger\u00fcchen.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_4633\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-4633\" style=\"width: 596px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-4633\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greenpearls.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/IMG_1970-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_1970\" width=\"596\" height=\"397\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-4633\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Eins unserer absoluten Lieblingsgerichte: Mango Sticky Rice!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Wir lernten insgesamt f\u00fcnf authentische Gerichte und dass die thail\u00e4ndische K\u00fcche mit gro\u00dfartigen Zutaten und Aromen gef\u00fcllt ist &#8211; eine wahre Geschmacksexplosion! Aber Achtung: \u201eThai spicy\u201c ist wirklich sehr scharf, zumindest f\u00fcr die ersten Tage in Thailand\u2026 glauben Sie mir!<\/p>\n<p>Als wir uns wieder zum Flughafen machten, um nach Phuket zu fliegen, wurde uns klar, dass das Amari Watergate ein perfekter Ort f\u00fcr ein paar Tage Bangkok ist &#8211; dem Amari Watergate liegt die Stadt Bangkok zu F\u00fc\u00dfen.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_4634\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-4634\" style=\"width: 594px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-4634\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greenpearls.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/IMG_2213-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_2213\" width=\"594\" height=\"396\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-4634\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Ganz wichtig im Zeavola: keine Schuhe werden gebraucht!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h2>Ab ins Paradies nach Koh Phi Phi<\/h2>\n<p>Nach nur einer Stunde Fahrt auf dem Speedboot von Phuket aus, sah ich etwas, was ich bisher nur von Fotos kannte: den Zeavola Strand! Der erste Wunsch des Kapit\u00e4ns: \u201eZiehen Sie Ihre Schuhe aus, Sie werden ein St\u00fcck durch das Meer laufen m\u00fcssen. Aber naja, Sie brauchen Ihre Schuhe jetzt eh nicht mehr.\u201c Was wir zuerst mit einem Augenzwinkern verstanden, wurde tats\u00e4chlich Wirklichkeit.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_4635\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-4635\" style=\"width: 596px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-4635\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greenpearls.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/IMG_2254-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_2254\" width=\"596\" height=\"397\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-4635\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Alleine die Lobby im Zeavola l\u00e4dt schon zum Entspannen ein.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Vom Strand aus wurden wir zur Lobby gebracht, die, wie alles im<a href=\"https:\/\/www.greenpearls.com\/hotels\/asia\/thailand\/zeavola\" target=\"_blank\"> Zeavola<\/a>, von vielen gr\u00fcnen Palmen und ganz viel Sand umgeben\u00a0ist. Jeden Abend, wenn das Bett f\u00fcr die Nacht gemacht wurde, entdeckten wir auch immer etwas Besonderes. Am ersten Abend bekamen wir das Foto, was bei unserer Ankunft gemacht wurde, in einem handgemachten Saa-Papierbilderrahmen; am zweiten Abend war es ein kleines Glas Kokosnusspeeling f\u00fcr Daheim. Meiner Meinung nach ist das unm\u00f6glich!<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_4639\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-4639\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-4639\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greenpearls.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/IMG_2323-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_2323\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-4639\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Das ganze Resort ist wie ein traditionelles, thail\u00e4ndisches Dorf aufgebaut.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h2>Traditionen in Thailand<\/h2>\n<p>Die Garden und Beachfront Suites sind im Village-Style sehr nah an thail\u00e4ndische Traditionen gehalten. Fr\u00fcher wohnten thail\u00e4ndische Familien nah beieinander und jeden Tag war eine andere Familie f\u00fcr das Kochen verantwortlich. Die ganze Familie lief dann zu diesem Cottage und verbrachte gemeinsame Stunden. Auch heute ist das Gef\u00fchl von Familie und Gemeinschaft im Zeavola immer zu sp\u00fcren.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_4640\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-4640\" style=\"width: 594px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-4640\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greenpearls.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/IMG_4256-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_4256\" width=\"594\" height=\"396\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-4640\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Im Baxil k\u00f6nnen Liebhaber der thail\u00e4ndischen K\u00fcche ganz viele tolle traditionelle Gerichte probieren.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Die Zeavola K\u00fcche ist eine Liebesgeschichte f\u00fcr sich. Da wir schon immer thail\u00e4ndisches Essen mochten, a\u00dfen wir jeden Abend im Baxil, wo es nur traditionelle thail\u00e4ndische Gerichte gibt.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_4646\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-4646\" style=\"width: 596px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-4646\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greenpearls.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/IMG_2117-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_2117\" width=\"596\" height=\"397\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-4646\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Pad Thai ist das wohl bekannteste thail\u00e4ndische Gericht, das jeder von uns kennt.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Wir probierten uns durch: Pad Thai Gai, Tom Yum Goong Suppe bis hin zu der frischen Obstplatte und den bekannten Zeavola Tom Yam Martini landeten bei uns auf dem Tisch &#8211; und was soll ich sagen: es war alles unglaublich lecker! Die Frische und Gew\u00fcrze sind mir heute noch in Erinnerung und in Kombination mit einem Tisch direkt am Strand wirklich unvergesslich.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_4641\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-4641\" style=\"width: 597px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-4641\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greenpearls.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/IMG_3240-1024x283.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_3240\" width=\"597\" height=\"165\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-4641\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Am Strand vom Zeavola kann man stundenlang spazieren gehen und einfach abschalten.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h2>Gro\u00dfe Zeavola Liebe<\/h2>\n<p>Nach unz\u00e4hligen Spazierg\u00e4ngen durch den warmen, sanften Sand, faule Stunden auf unserer eigenen Terrasse und entspannende Sonnenunterg\u00e4nge am Strand, f\u00fchlten wir uns beide schon innerhalb weniger Stunden erholt. Hier tritt Entspannung sofort ein, ein wahrer Luxus in der heutigen Welt.<\/p>\n<p>Unsere letzten Schritte vom Zeavola brachten uns wieder durch das glitzernde Wasser auf das Speedboot, auf dem ich dann zum ersten Mal seit 2 Tagen wieder meine Flip-Flops anzog. Es f\u00fchlte sich auf so vielen Ebenen merkw\u00fcrdig an, woran ich dann merkte, dass ich einen Teil meines Reiseherzes an das Zeavola verloren habe.<\/p>\n<p><em>Es folgten noch viele mehr tolle Orte und Erlebnisse &#8211;
