History & Philosophy

The privately owned and led hotel, established in 1999, is a wellness resort with its own unique charm. The family Zander has made the hotel their life’s mission and puts their heart and soul into every detail. It is especially important to them to notice trends, to be authentic and to operate sustainably. Due to the focus on Ayurveda, responsible consumption, a holistic diet and sustainability play an important role. The wellness and spa areas as well as the room capacity were expanded in 2014/2015. Especially the new Ayurvedic therapy room spanning four storeys including a Yoga room and an airy quiet area with gallery should be mentioned in particular.
