In the small village of Warpe, located in the state of Lower Saxony, the eco-hotel Okelmann's is housed in a building dating back to 1879.
For four generations, the Okelmann family has welcomed guests here, always putting nature and people first. For the Okelmanns, commitment to sustainability is second nature, whether social or ecological.

Rooms & Amenities
All 17 rooms are furnished with natural materials and colors in a northern style with many loving details. You can choose between double and single rooms. The double rooms with connecting doors are ideal for families. New is the ‘Signature Suite’ for 2 to 6 people with plenty of space and its own garden.
Restaurant, Café & Hotel
At Café Heimatliebe you will be spoiled with homemade cakes and muffins, quiches and soups, organic coffee and sandwiches. While you quietly enjoy the delicious treats, children can play in the playroom next door.
History & Philosophy
There has been a tavern and a farm on the present site since 1879. Following a marriage in 1916, the name changed from Kuhlmann to Okelmann.
The hotel still bears this name today and is run by the fifth generation of the Okelmann family. Although Annegret and Helmut are still involved in running the hotel, they have handed over responsibility to their daughter.
Coaching & Retreats
Early on, Maren and Kristin Okelmann discovered the interplay between people and nature.
In seminars and trainings such as Reiki and sound massage, they were able to experience oneness and focus on the beauty in and around them.

- The buildings have been in the family since the beginning of the 19th century. Over the years the structure has been renovated several times and in 2012 an extension was added.
- Local architects worked together on the extension and renovation, preserving the typical northern German half-timbered style. The owners, Maren Geisler-Okelmann and Kristin Okelmann, implemented their design ideas with the help of local craftsmen and their team.
- The hotel rooms are furnished with natural wood from local carpenters.

- In the rooms and at the breakfast buffet you will find a decanter of Granderwasser with a pine wood cap.

- The Okelmann’s Hotel has a combined heat and power plant and a photovoltaic system.
