The Story and Philosophy

At the popular region Timmendorfer Strand in Northern Germany, host couple Marion and Lambertus Muller developed in 2012 a complete new hotel concept from the previous traditional hotel „Am Timmendorfer Hof“. Hotel SAND stands for Sand Aspires Natural Design and embodies modern lifestyle combined with a focus on naturalness and sustainability. Hotel SAND welcomes its guests with individuality, highest quality, style, innovation as well as an ambience to feel good. Thereby, the Muller’s put great emphasis on regional consumption, protection of the environment as well as respect for the regional culture. From interior to the kitchen - almost everything is made of natural products. This mix is unique for the region. Cooperations are exclusively done with partners that share the SAND philosophy and its quality standards. Sustainability becomes fairness - for people and the environment. With the enlargement of the hotel building, hotel SAND becomes more diverse in 2017, however keeps its clear approach and philosophy.
