4-star superior Hotel Das Rübezahl receives a MICHELIN Key for the third consecutive year
The four-star superior Das Rübezahl hotel in Schwangau, Allgäu, has once again been awarded a Michelin Key by the 2026 Michelin Guide. This marks the third consecutive year that the family-run hotel has received this distinction. Guests particularly appreciate its location across from the royal castles, personalized service, individually designed themed suites, and the gourmet cuisine at Restaurant Louis II.
Junior manager Alexander Thurm sees the award as a success for the staff above all: "Our team is the heart of our hotel." Their dedication is what has created the special atmosphere that sets Das Rübezahl apart. The hotel also received the TripAdvisor Travelers’ Choice Award in 2026, placing it among the top 10 percent of hotels worldwide according to the review platform.
