A fourth star for the Relais del Maro in Liguria

The Relais del Maro in the Italian village of Borgomaro is celebrating another star and is now a 4* Albergo Diffuso.

The Albergo Diffuso is located only a few kilometers from the fashionable beaches of the Ligurian Sea and the Côte d'Azur. Albergo Diffuso means the hotel is not in a single house but converted out of various historic buildings in a small community.

The rooms and suites are furnished with great attention to detail and guests can relax in the romantic garden, in the swimming pool with whirlpool and on the terrace with wonderful views of the surrounding mountains. Guests appreciate the exceptional quality of the breakfast, which consists of regional ingredients, and the warmth of the host family.

"All the people who have visited us over the past eight years know how much passion we put into making our guests' stay something really special", says hotel owner Elena Scalambrin. "The quality of our services was already higher than a normal 3* hotel and now it is officially recognized."

The Relais del Maro starts into the new season as a 4* hotel from April 3, 2020.
