Falstaff Hotel Guide 2026: Awards for ADLER and OLM
Two Green Pearls® members in South Tyrol have been recognized in the prestigious Falstaff Hotel Guide 2026, once again highlighting the high quality of sustainable hospitality in the Alpine region.
The ADLER Lodge RITTEN achieved an outstanding 3rd place among the “Top 10 – Best Hotels in South Tyrol 2026”. This long-standing Green Pearls® partner hotel impresses with a holistic farm-to-table concept, nature-inspired lodges made of local wood, and a comprehensive all-inclusive package. Guests enjoy sustainable luxury amidst unspoiled nature—complemented by guided hiking and biking tours as well as a spacious spa by a natural pond.
The OLM Nature Escape in Sand in Taufers was honored with a special award for sustainability and innovation. The circular eco-aparthotel is completely energy self-sufficient and relies on solar energy and geothermal heat. The suites, crafted from regional larch wood and some featuring private saunas, combine modern design with ecological construction. A consistent zero-waste concept, regional cuisine, and resource-efficient processes make the property a pioneer in sustainable tourism.
The Falstaff Hotel Guide 2026 was published on April 13, 2026, and features hotels from Austria, Germany, Switzerland, and South Tyrol. A total of 149 new establishments were included, while only 21 hotels achieved the top rating of 100 points. The awards are considered one of the most important industry evaluations in the German-speaking world and recognize outstanding achievements in various categories—from design to sustainability.
