Hotel Luise in Erlangen awarded with EU Ecolabel

So far, only five hotels in Germany have been awarded the EU Ecolabel - as of December 6, our Green PearlsⓇ partner Hotel Luise in Erlangen is one of them.

The European Ecolabel is one of the best-known environmental labels and has been recognizing environmentally friendly products and services since 1992. It has recently expanded its focus to include tourism. “It is time to promote tourism differently,” says the website. The label recognizes the "best on the market" in terms of environmental performance among accommodation providers.

The Hotel Luise in Erlangen has earned this award. It is involved in all areas. Guests can stay in the "renewable hotel room" in fully recyclable rooms, shower in "astronaut showers" with minimal water consumption, and enjoy organic cuisine. The hotel is also committed to urban greening and biodiversity with its "Mirco Forest" and is active in adult and environmental education.
