Open "Garden Meeting" at Gut Sonnenhausen
Our Green PearlsⓇ partner Gut Sonnenhausen near Munich in Germany, is a prime example of agriculture and gardening following the principles of permaculture. On Wednesday, September 18, 2024, the garden will be open to the public.
The garden meeting is led by the hotel's gardener, Marie Louise Troll, who explained her gardening work and the principles of permaculture in this interview. "Permaculture is inherently sustainable and ecological," she says.
Now in September, many beds have been harvested and can be replenished with fast-growing vegetables. Fruit harvest is also in full swing - the September tour is a great way for gardeners to pick up tips and plan for the upcoming winter dormancy.
Date: September 18, 2024, 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., meet at Gut Sonnenhausen by the lime tree on the path to the farmhouse, admission free
