Opening of the Edelsbergshütte and Chalets in Allgäu, Germany

Our Green PearlsⓇ partner, Hotel Das Rübezahl in Schwangau, opened a new mountain hut with overnight accommodation in September 2024. 

The Edelsberghütte can be reached from the Pfronten car park in about 40 minutes to about 1.5 hours, depending on the route, and is located in the heart of the Allgäu mountain range at an altitude of 1180 meters. It makes a great excursion destination and offers accommodation for a sustainable and active outdoor holiday.

Three chalets (two on the first floor and one with separate entrance) also belong to the mountain hut, designed as cozy holiday apartments with modern comfort. The current menu includes local specialties and some vegan dishes such as potato soup, lentil stew and Allgäuer Krapfen. 

The hut can be booked for parties and events.
