SANDglow implements the SANDcollection’s sustainability concept
After acquiring SANDglow (former Hotel Thomas) in Husum a few years ago, there were made some initial, gradual adjustments. Now, the team is implementing the remaining sustainability measures of the SANDcollection at the new location. As a result, the SANDcollection will take a unified and consistent approach, particularly in energy and resource management, at both SANDnature on the Baltic Sea and SANDglow on the North Sea.
One of the first steps at SANDglow is installing energy-efficient lighting. Additionally, the DEHOGA Energy Check is being conducted to analyze the facility’s energy consumption and identify potential savings opportunities.
By applying this concept, the SANDcollection establishes a shared foundation for both locations, grounded in the overarching philosophy of the small hotel group.
