A toque for the Restaurant Louis II in the Hotel Das Rübezahl

Download

Great honor for Restaurant Louis II at Green PearlsⓇ Hotel Das Rübezahl in Allgäu: The renowned restaurant guide Gault&Millau has awarded the hotel's restaurant a toque, recognizing the high quality of the cuisine, the skill of the chefs and the use of sustainable (organic) ingredients from the region. Chef Erik Wendt impresses with his modern interpretation of Allgäu cuisine, combining regional classics with sophisticated accents. In addition to popular dishes such as Allgäu-style "Kässpatzen" and "Krautkrapfen", innovative vegan creations set new standards.

The award is another success for the hotel's new culinary concept based on sustainability. Instead of a separate gourmet restaurant, the Hotel Restaurant Louis II has been taken to a new level. The recognition by Gault&Millau 2025 confirms that this has been successful.

With its stylish ambiance and panoramic view of Neuschwanstein Castle, Louis II is one of the most extraordinary places to dine in the Allgäu region. Guests can expect not only excellent cuisine, but also an awareness of the responsible use of food and our planet's resources. This is achieved through the promotion of organic farming, zero-kilometer food and the development of plant-based cuisine.
