APIPURA hotel rinner promotes BIO FAIR SOUTH TYROL

The APIPURA hotel rinner was the first hotel to be awarded the "Bio Fair Südtirol" (South Tyrol) label in 2023. This means that the hotel uses only organic and/or fair trade certified food.

In 2025, the hotel wants to spread its ecological message and presents itself in this YouTube video. For them, local is not enough. As the junior host Manfred Rinner explains, meat in particular makes a big difference.

Organic meat from calves that have lived on pasture and been suckled by their mothers is more expensive, but it also reduces food waste to an absolute minimum. Sauces and stocks are made from scaps, and overproduction can be avoided by accurately calculating the number of guests.
Organic food is known to be healthier and tastier than conventional food, as well as being more environmentally friendly - eliminating food waste is another environmental benefit.
