The new Circular Living rooms in the sustainable hotel SCHWARZWALD PANORAMA now officially carry the GreenSign Circular certificate. The room concept is already a flagship for a functioning circular economy that also pays off economically.
GreenSign certificates promote sustainability
GreenSign is a cooperation partner of Green PearlsⓇ. Both companies are among the first to promote sustainable development in the tourism industry. The SCHWARZWALD PANORAMA in the spa town of Bad Herrenalb is working with both companies to promote the hotel's progressive ideas to the industry and the public. Ultimately, everyone is working together to shape the future of environmentally friendly travel.
Circular Living - a hotel room concept that sets new standards
Hotel rooms have to be renovated every ten years or so. This creates a lot of waste from composite materials (carpets, etc.) that end up in landfills and incinerators. This does not have to be the case. Hotelier Stephan Bode has been pursuing the concept of a circular economy for several years, which has now been implemented in the newly designed hotel rooms. All materials used can be completely recycled at the end of their useful life and thus returned to the cycle.
Finalist for the German Sustainability Award and the German Tourism Award
The Circular Living concept was honored on November 23:
- It was awarded 3rd place in the German Tourism Award.
- The room concept was one of three finalists for the "German Sustainability Award for Companies" in the accommodation sector.
