Klosterhof Wins 2026 DACH Spa Award for Medical Wellness Concept

The Klosterhof — Alpine Hideaway & Spa, located in the Berchtesgadener Land region, was honored in the “4-Star” category at the 2026 DACH Spa Awards. The jury particularly praised the Artemacur Spa concept, which combines classic wellness offerings with medically supervised health treatments at the adjacent Artemacur Health Center. These include metabolic analyses, therapeutically supervised fasting, and individually tailored treatments.

The hotel's wellness offerings also include a sauna area with a panoramic sauna, a year-round heated outdoor pool overlooking the Alpine foothills, an indoor pool with a fireplace, and various yoga and meditation programs. Special programs, such as retreats for pregnant women, are also an important part of the wellness offerings. This ties in with the history of the former monastery site, where Augustinian monks grew medicinal plants and used it as a retreat centuries ago.
