STURM builds a new relaxation house

Download

At STURM in Mellrichstadt, a new relaxation house is being built in the middle of the garden with a view of the natural swimming pond. The building will be constructed in a sustainable timber frame style and is scheduled for completion in May 2025.

Project by architect Loebermann

Once again, Professor Matthias Loebermann is responsible for the architectural design. The award-winning architect has been working with STURM for years and was recently honored with the best architects award 24 for an extension to the hotel (Garden View Room).

The new relaxation house will be a place of retreat and deceleration, embedded in nature and harmoniously integrated into the existing architecture. In the recently opened relaxation room of the RHÖN-SPA, Loebermann already used natural wood, subtle lighting and architectural transitions that contribute to mental relaxation.

With the new relaxation house, STURM is taking a further step towards sustainable regeneration - both in terms of construction and content. Guests can look forward to a place where peace, architecture and nature are in harmony.
