Koh Samui’s most outstanding feature is the nature. People have to realize that the protection of nature and environment is the key to enable Koh Samui to maintain itself as one of the top destinations in Thailand.
In June 2014, a group of 15 staff volunteers completed a community service project organised by Tongsai Bay’s HR department and the resort’s bicycle club. In the morning the group cycled from the resort to Bang Rok Beach to help clean the beach. The volunteers then rode to Bann Plailam School, where they donated books, played games, and completed activities with the students. In 2012, Tonsgai Bay completed many projects to help the community. They educated students from the Ban Plai Lerm School on global warming. Students from the Tam Nam Sai School and architecture students from Chalong visited Tongsai Bay’s Green Project. The resort donated computers to St. Joseph School and old uniforms to Samui’s dog rescue centre. Bikes were donated to Green Island Foundation for Samui car free day.
“This is my 3rd visit, it was a surprise from my wife for my birthday. This hotel is my favourite in the world, better than 7 stars I have stayed in - everything is perfect to relax and get back to nature - heaven on earth.”
